TOM CLARKE – KATHLEEN DALY CLARKE
Memorial Celebration – Sunday, April 3 2016
The Suffolk County AOH will commemorate the
dedication of the Tom Clarke and Kathleen Daly Clarke
Memorial at the monument on County Road 111,
Manorville, N.Y. at 9:00AM with a wreath laying service.
This year, there will also be a reading of the 1916
Proclamation of the Irish Republic, to commemorate the
Centennial Anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising.
Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Mickey Bancroft at
the Rock Hill Country Club on Clancy Road, Manorville
immediately following the monument service.
Breakfast will follow the Mass at 10:00AM
Joining us for this very special event as Guest Speakers will be:
Martin Galvin, Esq is an Irish American lawyer, publisher and activist, and former director of NORAID. He is President of Woodlawn-Wakefied Division 5 AOH, and Bronx County Freedom-forall- Ireland Chair. People magazine called Mr. Galvin the foremost advocate for the Irish Republican cause in America. |

Dave Hannigan is a weekly columnist with The Irish Echo (New York) and The Evening Echo (Cork). He is also an adjunct Professor of History at Suffolk County Community College.
